Bid online

Register as an online bidder via our website HERE. Once registered you will receive an email that you need to verify to complete the process. Once verified you can enter the online auction portal and bid away. Please note the auction will run live online but there is also pre bidding available from the Friday evening before the Tuesday auction. Payments

If you are successful at auction, an invoice will be emailed to you with payment details at conclusion of auction. Please note there is a buyer’s premium of 17 % plus GST. This will add 19.55 % to the hammer price. Payment is due upon receipt of your invoice and must be made within 3 days. Preferred payment is via internet banking. Payment may be made by EFTPOS in store or Credit Card (surcharges apply). Please note: McElwains do not accept split payments.

Collection or delivery

All items are to be picked up within 3 days of the auction – no exceptions. If you have purchased large and/or heavy items please bring people to assist you. McElwains staff are not available for lifting and moving of items.
